Rina Matzliach Reveals She Doesn't Speak With Amit Segal
Prominent Israeli journalist Rina Matzliach stated in a recent interview that she no longer communicates with fellow journalist Amit Segal. Appearing on Channel 13's program with Omri Assenheim, Matzliach was asked when she last corresponded with Segal. She responded directly, "I don't speak with Amit Segal."
When pressed for the reason behind this estrangement, Matzliach explained their differing professional approaches and motivations. "We are two journalists of different types. We don't have much in common," she said. Matzliach characterized her own career as driven by public service, comparing herself to a tax authority clerk focused on doing her job. In contrast, she described Segal as someone who uses his platform to advance his own ideology. "I came to the media as a public servant, I came like a tax authority clerk who needs to do her job, and he came to promote his ideology. We are different," she elaborated.
