Social Media Star Yanki Goldhaber Completes IDF Service

Social media personality Yanki Goldhaber was discharged from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Wednesday, following a ceremony at Bahad 20 in the City of Training Bases in the Negev. Goldhaber, who comes from an ultra-Orthodox background and enlisted in January 2024, concluded his service in a symbolic moment where he cut his military ID tag while still in uniform, cheered on by friends counting down.

Immediately after cutting his tag, Goldhaber uttered the phrase "End of time, Commander," a saying often associated with the grueling early days of basic training, adding a touch of humor to the emotional occasion. He also emphasized the significance of his military service, stating, "I was privileged to fight for the people of Israel and for those who study Torah."

Goldhaber's enlistment garnered significant public attention due to his ultra-Orthodox background and his active presence on social media.
