Maccabi Haifa President Rules Out Yarin Levi Transfer

Maccabi Haifa President Yaakov Shahar has definitively stated that midfielder Yarin Levi will not be transferred to another club. The club issued a statement on Wednesday addressing numerous reports concerning the 21-year-old player. Shahar emphasized Levi's status as a Maccabi Haifa player, developed through the club's youth system, expressing confidence in his future success with the team.

"We have no intention whatsoever to discuss his transfer to another club," Shahar declared. "Decisions concerning Maccabi Haifa players are made solely in the best interest of the club."

Levi's name had been linked primarily with a return to Beitar Jerusalem, where he played for the previous two seasons, and also with a move to Hapoel Be'er Sheva. Beitar Jerusalem coach Almog Cohen had recently commented, "Yarin Levi is a player we really like. If it were up to me, I would want him very much, but I don't think Maccabi Haifa is open to discussing him right now."

Levi rejoined Maccabi Haifa in the summer and was not part of the squad for their recent 2-1 victory over Hapoel Petah Tikva on Saturday.
