Maccabi Haifa President Denies Transfer Plans for Yarin Levi
Maccabi Haifa President Yaakov Shahar has issued a statement to quell speculation surrounding midfielder Yarin Levi, amid reported interest from Beitar Jerusalem and Hapoel Be'er Sheva. Shahar emphasized that Levi is a valued player who developed through the club's youth academy and expressed confidence in his future success with Maccabi Haifa.
"We believe in him and are sure he will bring much pride to our club," Shahar stated. He explicitly denied any intention to discuss Levi's transfer to another club, asserting that all decisions regarding Maccabi Haifa players are made solely in the club's best interest.
The statement comes as the transfer window nears its close, with a week remaining. Both Beitar Jerusalem and Hapoel Be'er Sheva had previously expressed interest in acquiring the young midfielder.
