Yavne Municipality Honors Outstanding Employees for 2025-2026

The Yavne Municipality held a special ceremony this past Sunday to recognize its outstanding employees for the Hebrew year 5786 (2025-2026). Mayor Roi Gabay, Municipal Manager Levi Itach, and Workers' Committee Chairman Zion Ben Lulu, along with council members and deputy mayors, honored 14 employees who demonstrated exceptional professionalism, dedication, initiative, and commitment throughout the year. These individuals were selected from numerous nominations submitted by municipal department heads.

Mayor Gabay emphasized the crucial role of the employees, stating, "The municipality is first and foremost its people. We can talk about plans, projects, and achievements, but ultimately, it is our employees who bring all of these to fruition." He praised the honorees as examples of those who consistently choose to take responsibility, provide excellent service, and go the extra mile for the city's residents, expressing pride and gratitude to them and their families.

The recognized employees span various departments, including Finance, Social Services, Urban Policing, Education, Community Centers, City Beautification, the Municipal Hotline, and Engineering. Among the honorees are Iris Ohayon (Treasury), Ilana Elazar (Social Services), Oleg Vinnik (Urban Policing), Ilanit Avraham (Education), Avi Avraham (Community Center), Dagito Moges (Education), Hannah Abergil (Education), Rotem Shalom (Education), Ronen Levi (Education), Haviva Banisti (Education), Oral Gashan Shapira (City Beautification), Arda Sebhat (City Beautification), Yaron Cohen (Municipal Hotline), and Olga Zatuchni (Engineering).

In addition to the 14 individual awards, the mayor presented two special commendations to employees whose contributions were deemed particularly significant to the municipality and the residents of Yavne.
