Israel Railways Boosts Service for Sarit Hadad Concerts in Tel Aviv

Israel Railways has finalized its preparations to accommodate tens of thousands of attendees expected at singer Sarit Hadad's concerts in Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park on Wednesday and Thursday, September 16-17.

To manage the anticipated demand and ensure attendee safety while minimizing traffic congestion, the railway company will deploy additional trains and extend the routes of regular services. "Emergency" trains will also be on standby, ready to operate based on demand. The Tel Aviv University station, located near the concert venue, will see increased staffing, including security personnel, ushers, and managers, to enhance passenger safety and provide efficient service.

Israel Railways advises concertgoers to arrive at stations early and adhere to all safety instructions from station and platform staff. They also recommend purchasing a "free daily ticket" which covers round-trip travel, offers a significant discount, and saves time waiting at the station.

Several specific train routes have been adjusted. Three additional trains will depart from Tel Aviv University station late at night: one to Be'er Sheva Central at approximately 11:00 PM, another to Nahariya at 11:20 PM, and a third to Ashkelon at 11:45 PM. Additionally, the routes of several regular trains will be extended or modified to include more stops, ensuring broader coverage and accessibility for attendees traveling from various parts of the country.
