Israel Railways Adds Trains for Sarit Hadad Concerts
Israel Railways will significantly increase train services on September 16-17 to accommodate large crowds expected for singer Sarit Hadad's concerts at Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park. To manage expected demand and ensure safety, additional trains will run, and some regular services will have extended routes.
Special "full and go" trains will depart from Tel Aviv University station late at night. These include services to Be'er Sheva Central (train 8683), Nahariya (train 8188), and Ashkelon (train 8289), with specific stops detailed in the announcement. Several regular train services will also have their routes extended or will add stops to serve concertgoers.
Regular train 54 will extend its route from Tel Aviv University to Herzliya, while train 782 will add stops to its Tel Aviv University to Herzliya service. Train 53 to Be'er Sheva Central will begin its journey at Tel Aviv University, and train 687's route will be extended to Be'er Sheva Central, also starting from Tel Aviv University.
Israel Railways is also deploying extra staff, including security guards and attendants, at Tel Aviv University station and other key locations to ensure passenger safety and efficient service. Passengers are advised to arrive early, follow safety instructions, and consider purchasing a discounted daily travel pass for convenience and savings.
