Kiryat Malachi Mayor Delivers Holiday Packages to Hospitalized Residents
Ahead of the Rosh Hashanah holiday, Kiryat Malachi Mayor Eliyahu (Lalo) Zohar continued a yearly municipal tradition by visiting hospitalized residents from his city. Zohar visited Kaplan Hospital, Herzfeld Medical Center, and the Rachel Litzhak Achva Geriatric Center to personally deliver holiday gift packages and New Year's greetings.
During his visits, the mayor spoke with patients and their families, inquiring about their well-being and wishing them a full recovery and a swift return home. The initiative aims to extend the warmth, care, and sense of community of Kiryat Malachi to residents during their hospitalization, reminding them that the city stands with them even when they are away from home.
"This is already a tradition that is very important to me," stated Mayor Zohar. "Every year, before Rosh Hashanah, I come to meet the hospitalized residents of Kiryat Malachi, to strengthen them and bring with me some of the city's warmth and love. Beyond the package itself, it is important for me to tell them personally that we are thinking of them, praying for their recovery, and looking forward to seeing them return home healthy and strong. I wish everyone a full recovery, a good and sweet year, and many good tidings."
