Woman's Hand Severely Injured After Getting Caught in Meat Grinder

A 40-year-old woman sustained severe hand injuries in Kiryat Gat when her arm became trapped in a meat grinder at a production facility. Emergency services responded quickly to the scene to provide assistance and free the victim. Reports indicate the woman placed her hand inside the operating mechanism, possibly neglecting basic safety protocols, resulting in her fingers being caught and pulled into the grinder along with raw materials.

Rescue teams found the woman in a state of severe shock and distress, with her hand still immobilized by the complex machinery. Fire and rescue personnel utilized specialized hydraulic and locksmith tools to dismantle the unit's components piece by piece. The rescue operation was lengthy.
