Bnei Brak Launches Major Urban Renewal Project in Pardes Katz

The Bnei Brak Municipality's Engineering Administration is spearheading a comprehensive urban renewal initiative in the Pardes Katz neighborhood, aiming to replace fragmented solutions with a holistic approach centered on residents' needs. The project encompasses the central area bordered by Jabotinsky, Groner, and Begin streets.

Key components of the plan include the construction of approximately 700 new housing units, replacing an existing outdated complex. A new central garden will be established, featuring public gathering spaces, shaded seating areas, and high-quality landscaping, alongside improved connectivity within the neighborhood. A vibrant commercial frontage will be created along Jabotinsky Street, providing residents with access to quality services and retail, thereby strengthening the main thoroughfare.

The development also incorporates the construction of about 4,000 square meters of educational facilities, including classrooms spread across three floors, complemented by spacious internal courtyards. Mayor Chanoch Zeibert highlighted that the complex will foster a Torah-oriented living environment offering genuine quality of life and commended the "Modim U'Bonim" development company for its initiative.

City Engineer Nitzan Barchan stated that the design seeks to balance residents' needs, emphasizing a commitment to creating a well-rounded living space. The municipality conveyed this information.
