David Foxman to Officiate Tel Aviv Derby in Upcoming Soccer Match
The Israel Football Association Referees' Association has announced the referee assignments for the fourth week of the Premier League season, with David Foxman appointed to officiate the highly anticipated Tel Aviv derby between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv. The match is scheduled to take place on Monday, September 14, at Bloomfield Stadium, with kickoff at 8:30 PM. This will be the first time this season Foxman referees a game involving Maccabi Tel Aviv and the second time he officiates Hapoel Tel Aviv, having previously overseen their 3-0 victory over Beitar Jerusalem.
Other notable referee assignments for the upcoming round include Aviv Klein for the match between Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona on Monday at 8:00 PM in Netanya. Gal Levy will officiate the game between champions Hapoel Be'er Sheva and Hapoel Petah Tikva on Sunday at 8:30 PM at the Shlomo Bituh Stadium. The final match of the round, between Maccabi Petah Tikva and Beitar Jerusalem on Tuesday at 8:00 PM at Bloomfield Stadium, will be managed by Gal Leibovitz.
Additional assignments include Nael Odeh for Bnei Sakhnin versus Hapoel Haifa, Snir Levy for Maccabi Netanya against Hapoel Ramat Gan, and Orall Greenfeld overseeing Hapoel Jerusalem and Ironi Tiberias.
