Colombian Winger Camilo Mena Joins Korona Kielce, Not Maccabi Tel Aviv
Colombian winger Camilo Mena, 23, who was previously linked with a move to Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv, is on the verge of joining Polish top-tier side Korona Kielce. Mena is currently undergoing medical tests with his potential new club, and a formal contract signing is expected to follow.
The deal involves a loan from his current team, Lechia Gdańsk, to Korona Kielce, with the latter holding an option to purchase Mena's contract at the end of the loan period. Mena joined Lechia Gdańsk three years ago, making 92 appearances across all competitions, scoring 15 goals and providing 33 assists. Despite his contributions, he could not prevent the team from being relegated to the second division at the end of the last season.
