Maccabi Tel Aviv Faces Bidding War for Colombian Winger Camilo Mena

Maccabi Tel Aviv is facing increased competition for the signing of Colombian winger Camilo Mena, a target for the Israeli club as they seek to strengthen their squad. After another target, Elijah Adebayo, was removed from consideration, Mena has emerged as a key prospect. However, the 23-year-old player for Poland's Legia Gdansk is also attracting significant interest from other clubs.

Turkish newly-promoted side Çorum is reportedly pursuing Mena, with additional clubs from Turkey and Greece also expressing interest. Mena has reportedly received offers from teams in Israel, the United States, and Greece's Aris Thessaloniki. Mena is under contract with Legia Gdansk until 2028.

Transfermarkt values Mena at €4 million, but Legia Gdansk is reportedly demanding €8 million for his transfer, a figure significantly higher than previous reports suggesting a fee between €3.5 million and €4 million. Last season, Mena, who has represented Colombia's youth national teams, scored five goals and provided 10 assists in the league.
