Israeli Forces Kill Teenager During West Bank Raid

An Israeli military operation in the West Bank town of Aqrabah, south of Nablus, on Tuesday morning resulted in the death of a young man. The raid involved the surrounding of a house in the Al-Diriya area, with forces demanding the surrender of an individual inside and threatening to blow up the building if they refused. Gunfire and explosions were heard from the house, and a military bulldozer was deployed to the scene, followed by the firing of an Energa projectile at the structure.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces imposed a military cordon around the house, accompanied by a broader town incursion and troop deployment. The operation led to intense tension in the vicinity. The exchange of fire and explosions occurred during the siege, with the military continuing to surround the house amidst heavy forces in the area.

The death of the young man occurred amidst a wider series of Israeli military raids and searches across multiple towns, cities, and refugee camps in the West Bank on Tuesday. In the Nablus governorate alone, forces also raided the towns of Qablan, Asira, and Kafr Qalil, and searched homes in the village of Yatma. Israeli bulldozers were also reported to be uprooting olive trees in the Qablan plain opposite Asira.

Simultaneously, the Aqrabah incident coincided with an escalation of settler attacks in various West Bank areas. Settlers reportedly attacked and plowed citizens' land near Ramallah, vandalized and stole from an agricultural facility, blocked roads in Tubas, and threw stones at vehicles near Jerusalem. In Nablus, two Palestinians were injured by settlers who attacked homes in the Burqa area.

Other reported raids and arrests took place in areas north of Jerusalem, including Anata and Shuafat refugee camp. In Jenin, forces raided the town of Zababdah and arrested a local resident, also entering Malthon. In Tulkarm, forces raided the Zakat Committee building and fired sound grenades in Artaah suburb, arresting a former prisoner in Tulkarm city. In Hebron, forces raided Dura and the Al-Jaberri neighborhood, conducting arrests and reportedly mistreating residents.
