Palestinian Youth Killed by Israeli Forces During Raid in West Bank Village
Palestinian sources reported Tuesday morning that a young man was killed by Israeli army fire in the village of Aqraaba, south of Nablus. The incident occurred after Israeli forces surrounded a house in the Al-Diriya area of the village, demanding that an individual inside surrender. The forces reportedly threatened to blow up the house if the demand was not met.
Local sources indicated that the Israeli military imposed a cordon around the house, accompanied by sounds of gunfire. Two explosions were later heard from within the besieged home, as Israeli forces fired towards it. An Israeli military bulldozer was deployed to the vicinity of the house, and an Energa projectile was fired at it, according to reports.
The circumstances surrounding the youth's death and the full details of the operation remain unclear, with Palestinian sources attributing the killing to the Israeli army.
