Padlon Group Wins Contracts for Major Hospital Projects in Israel
The Padlon Group has secured two significant tenders to construct new medical facilities at Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, and Shamir Medical Center (formerly Assaf Harofeh).
The projects, collectively valued at hundreds of millions of shekels, will involve the demolition of existing structures, relocation of systems, excavation, shoring, and the construction of foundational infrastructure. Work is expected to commence within approximately one month.
At Sheba Medical Center, Padlon will undertake Phase C of a project that includes administrative buildings, a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and an emergency parking facility. The company is already executing the first two phases of this project, valued at around 100 million shekels. Phase C alone is estimated at 200 million shekels, encompassing structural work, cladding, systems, and finishing. The entire project, including a future Phase D, is projected to cost approximately 400 million shekels.
Padlon has a long history of construction at Sheba Medical Center, having completed numerous facilities including a rehabilitation pool, dental center, rehabilitation and multiple sclerosis center, emergency medicine center, children's hospital, and a cancer center parking garage. The company is also currently building a new forensic medicine institute at Shamir Medical Center.

He emphasized the delicate nature of working within active hospital environments, ensuring continuous operation of critical medical systems like air conditioning, water, and heating to prevent disruption to operating rooms, laboratories, and other essential departments.
