Israelis Can Find Budget Flights and Tours for Fall Holidays

Israeli travelers looking to go abroad during the upcoming fall holiday season, including Rosh Hashanah, can still find affordable options, according to travel experts. Despite the end of summer and the approaching holidays, a significant number of last-minute deals and budget tours remain available.

Tamar Gershon, CEO of Gulliver, stated that finding good deals just days before Rosh Hashanah is realistic. She advises travelers to be flexible with their dates, departure times, and destinations, and to compare baggage allowances and booking conditions.

Oren Cohen Maguri, Deputy Marketing Director at Flying Carpet, noted that Greece and Cyprus are currently leading in demand due to their pleasant weather and the end of the European tourist season, which has led to lower accommodation prices. Dubai is also experiencing high demand.

Package deals highlighted include a trip to Athens from September 11-13, including a flight with Arkia and a 4-star hotel with breakfast, starting at $488 per person. Other offers include Rhodes from September 11-13 for $547, Batumi from September 11-13 for $621, Crete from September 10-13 starting at $499 for a family of four, Montenegro from October 1-4 starting at $589 for a family of four, and Dubai from September 10-13 for $659 per person for a family of four.

According to the service Secret Flights, airfare to Larnaca for Rosh Hashanah can be found for as low as $85, with tickets to Rhodes, Athens, Paphos, Crete, and Palermo available for under $150. After Rosh Hashanah, flights to Larnaca can drop to $64.
