Hadash Party Council Votes to Suspend Jaafar Farah's Knesset Candidacy

The General Assembly of the Hadash party has decided to suspend the candidacy of Jaafar Farah for the upcoming Knesset elections. The decision was made during a meeting in the city of Shfaram, where a majority of the council members voted to halt Farah's run on the Hadash list.

This vote followed a proposal by Hadash chairman, Muhammad Barakeh, to suspend Farah's candidacy while integrating him into the leadership of the party's election campaign. Farah agreed to this proposal before the General Assembly ratified it.

Following the decision, Faten Ghattas was elected as the second candidate on the Hadash list, replacing Farah. Farah had stated upon arriving at the meeting that he would accept any outcome from the council, emphasizing that the priority after resolving this matter would be to focus on fieldwork and mobilizing the public to increase voter turnout.
