Kosovo Signs Agreement to Join International Forces in Gaza
Kosovo has signed an agreement to participate with its contingent in the International Stabilization Force (ISF) operating in the Gaza Strip. The document was signed on September 7 in Pristina by the Commander of the Kosovo Security Forces, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, and the ISF Commander, U.S. Major General Jasper Jeffers.
According to the Kosovo Ministry of Defense, the agreement outlines the technical and organizational aspects of the Kosovar contingent's involvement in the mission. Officials in Pristina stated that participation in the ISF is viewed as part of Kosovo's contribution to international security operations.
