IDF Soldiers Injured in Hezbollah Clash in Southern Lebanon

Two Israeli soldiers were lightly wounded during an exchange of fire with a Hezbollah operative in the Beaufort area of southern Lebanon on Monday. The incident occurred while an IDF force from the Golani Brigade was conducting searches in the region. The operative, who was inside a structure, opened fire on the soldiers, prompting an immediate response from the Israeli forces who returned fire and killed him. Subsequently, the IDF fired shells into the area where the operative had been located. The Israeli military also reported striking additional Hezbollah military infrastructure, command posts, and terror facilities in the vicinity.
