IDF Soldiers Injured, Hezbollah Militant Killed in Southern Lebanon Clash

The Israeli military reported that two soldiers were lightly wounded during an exchange of fire with a Hezbollah operative in the Beaufort area of southern Lebanon earlier today. The incident occurred while an Israeli reconnaissance unit from the Golani Brigade was conducting searches in the region.

A Hezbollah militant, who was inside a structure, opened fire on the soldiers. The Israeli forces immediately returned fire, neutralizing the operative. The two wounded soldiers were evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment, and their families have been notified.
