Israeli Startup HydroSight Raises $5 Million for AI-Powered Seabed Mapping
Israeli startup HydroSight, which is developing an artificial intelligence platform for analyzing and mapping the seabed, has secured $5 million in seed funding. The investment round was led by StageOne Ventures, with participation from Vertex Ventures and the National Center for Blue Economy, which operates under HiCenter Ventures.
HydroSight was founded in late 2025 by Tomer Adler, Haitam Azzi, and Hen Megera. The company currently employs five people. Its founders bring extensive experience in marine systems from both military and civilian backgrounds, according to Calcalist.
The company's platform integrates data from various seabed surveys, correlating results from different times and sources. Using AI, it automatically identifies changes and anomalies on the seabed, aiming to replace or significantly speed up the laborious manual analysis of such data.
The technology is primarily targeted at companies involved in the construction and operation of offshore infrastructure, including energy facilities, subsea cables, ports, and other structures.
