Rebbe of Sanz-Klausenburg Stays in Israel for Selichot Prayers
The Rebbe of Sanz-Klausenburg, currently visiting the Holy Land, surprised his followers in Israel by remaining to lead the first Selichot (penitential prayers) services with them. The Rebbe led the prayers with intense emotion, delivering a passionate sermon before the recitation of 'Shema Kolenu' (Hear Our Voice).
Photographer Shuki Lerer captured the spiritual moments, documenting events from the Havdalah ceremony late at night through the uplifting Selichot service.
