Sadigura Rebbe Leads First Selichot Prayers in Jerusalem
The Sadigura Rebbe led the first Selichot (penitential prayers) service of the season at his court in Jerusalem, ahead of the High Holy Days. During the gathering, the Rebbe delivered words of inspiration regarding the importance of seeking forgiveness before the Day of Judgment.
Following the tradition of the Ruzhin Hasidic dynasty, the Rebbe prayed in his adjacent room, separate from the main prayer hall. Afterward, Hasidim approached him to receive a blessing for the coming year, known as 'Bracha D'Shanim'. The event was attended by Hasidim and members of the wider Hasidic community (Hasidim V'Anash).
