Hapoel Acre Owner Offers to Sell Club for NIS 700,000 Amid Financial Woes

Hapoel Acre owner Tsachi Nakash has put the struggling football club up for sale, offering to transfer ownership for NIS 700,000 (approximately $190,000 USD). Nakash announced his intention to sell following the team's devastating 5-0 loss to Kiryat Yam on Sunday, which leaves Hapoel Acre with a 0-12 goal difference after four matches this season. Nakash, who claims to have invested over NIS 7 million (approximately $1.9 million USD) in the club since taking over, expressed frustration with the situation, stating that his investment has been "thrown in the trash."

Nakash cited ongoing disputes with the Acre municipality as a major factor contributing to the club's crisis. He stated that he came to Hapoel Acre with good intentions but has faced constant criticism and a lack of peace since the season began. He suggested that individuals close to the municipality wanted to manage the club, but insisted they should do so with their own funds, not his.

"If you have NIS 700,000, take Hapoel Acre," Nakash declared during an interview with the National League broadcast. He added that the buyer could take over immediately, enjoy the Rosh Hashanah holiday with the team, and receive gifts he had purchased for the players. Nakash asserted that all club debts have been settled, including pension payments, and that he is willing to leave for a nominal sum.

The club is currently in a deep crisis, despite Nakash believing the team itself is not bad and that six new players were brought in to improve performance. He described the current situation as "unbelievable" and expressed his desire to leave the club, stating he is not looking for conflict.
