Israeli Battalion Concludes Six-Month Operation in Southern Lebanon
The "Yonatan" Battalion of the "Hashmonaim" Brigade has completed approximately six months of operational activity in southern Lebanon. The soldiers are now returning for a period of recovery and further training.
During their deployment, the battalion focused on locating and dismantling Hezbollah military infrastructure and weapons caches in various areas of southern Lebanon. Their operations included identifying and destroying underground shafts and other infrastructure, as well as discovering rocket launchers aimed at Israel.
The conclusion of this mission marks a significant phase in the battalion's service following an extended period of combat tasks. Upon their return, the soldiers will undergo recovery measures and prepare for their next assignments within the "Hashmonaim" Brigade.
