Israeli Youths Report Kidnapping, Later Found Safe After Entering Palestinian Village Willingly

Early Tuesday morning, Israeli police received a report from a minor claiming he and two others had been kidnapped and taken to the Palestinian village of Hizme. Jerusalem District Police immediately dispatched numerous forces, including IDF soldiers and other security personnel, to locate the individuals. Utilizing technological and operational capabilities, police officers from the Binyamin station quickly found the three near the village, unharmed. The group consisted of two 15-year-old minors and a 40-year-old man, all residents of Jerusalem. They were taken for questioning, where it was revealed they had voluntarily entered Hizme to spend time there. Fearing the consequences of their actions, they then reported a fabricated kidnapping to the police. The three were investigated for filing a false crime report and for violating a legal order prohibiting entry into Palestinian villages. Following their interrogation, they appeared in court and were released under restrictive conditions. The investigation is ongoing.
