Otzma Yehudit MK Tzvika Fogel Announces Knesset Departure
Tzvika Fogel, chairman of the Otzma Yehudit faction and the Knesset's National Security Committee chairman, announced on Thursday that he will not run for the 26th Knesset on behalf of the party. Fogel posted on X (formerly Twitter) that the path for his continued activity in the Knesset or the future government is not unfolding as he had planned. He wished his colleagues in the party great success and stated he would continue to act for the people and the country in any way possible.
Otzma Yehudit chairman and Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir thanked Fogel, calling him a "person of values, a true fighter, and a great patriot." Ben-Gvir wished Fogel much success in his future endeavors.
