Otzma Yehudit Party Adjusts Knesset List, MK Vogel Steps Down

Otzma Yehudit party chairman and Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has informed MK Limor Son Har-Melech that she will be placed in the fifth position on the party's list for the upcoming Knesset elections. MK Zviקה Vogel, who previously held the fifth spot, will not be running in the next election on behalf of the party. MK Yitzhak Kroizer is slated to be placed in the sixth position.

Son Har-Melech, currently the Deputy Speaker of the Knesset and Chairwoman of the Health Committee, has spearheaded several legislative initiatives during her term. These include a bill for the death penalty for terrorists, the cancellation of the Disengagement Law which led to the return of settlement in northern Samaria, the cessation of UNRWA operations in Israel, stricter penalties for sex offenses with a nationalistic background, and the promotion of gender-segregated studies in academia.

Furthermore, she has led parliamentary caucuses focused on the Land of Israel, religious and Haredi women, and the renewal of settlement in the Gaza Strip.
