Channel 13 Reporter Yishai Porat Departs After Seven Years
Yishai Porat, Channel 13's reporter for the West Bank and the South, announced on Sunday that he is leaving his position after seven years with the company. Porat shared his decision on Twitter, expressing his affection for the news outlet and its journalists.
During his tenure, Porat extensively covered events in the West Bank and later shifted his focus to reporting from the southern region of Israel. In his farewell message, he thanked his colleagues and indicated that he plans to return to the media landscape soon, stating he is "taking some air and will be back soon."
Porat's next career move has not yet been announced. His departure follows that of two other journalists from Channel 13 last week: presenter and reporter Matan Ayala, and senior correspondent and US envoy Neria Kraus.

Not the same event — other stories that share this one’s people, places, or theme: background, reactions, and follow-ups.
