Bennett Unveils Party List for Knesset Election, Featuring Women in Top Spots

Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, chairman of the "Achad" party, revealed his slate for the upcoming Knesset elections on Sunday. The list notably places women in the second and third positions, with five women overall in the top ten.

Keren Turner, former director-general of the Ministries of Finance and Transportation, secured the second spot. Liran Avishar Ben-Horin, ex-director-general of the Ministry of Communications, is third, followed by Michal Negri, former director-general of the Ra'anana Municipality, in fourth place. MK Eitan Ginzburg, who defected from the Blue and White party, is fifth, and Yonatan Shilo, founder of the "Shoulder to Shoulder" reservist organization, is sixth.

Bennett stated that the list represents "the best team to fix the State of Israel," emphasizing the inclusion of "doers" with proven track records in public service and government. He described it as the "most effective list to run for the Knesset in the last generation," designed to lead "the great repair" of Israel.

This announcement follows Yair Lapid's release of the "Yesh Atid" party list. Yesh Atid's list includes MK Merav Ben-Ari second, followed by retired General Noam Tibon, and MKs Merav Cohen and Ram Ben Barak. Lapid described the list-building process as "unprecedented" and called his team "the strongest team in the Knesset," asserting that Israel remains a democracy "mainly thanks to them." He also addressed the expected integration of Yesh Atid members into Bennett's "Achad" list, stating it is "not a breakup, it's a rebuilding."
