Naftali Bennett's Party Welcomes Four New Women Candidates, Boosting Female Representation

Naftali Bennett, chairman of the "Together" party and former Israeli Prime Minister, announced the addition of four women to the party's Knesset candidate list. With these new members, the party's list now includes 17 women. The first to join is Bruria Naim Arman, who has served as CEO of "Together" since its inception and established the party's nationwide grassroots network. She previously held senior roles including chief of staff to the Minister of Transportation and Deputy Minister of Defense, as well as deputy CEO at the Tel Aviv Metropolitan Mass Transit System.

Joining her is Esti Ayalon Kovo, a former head of the Israeli economic delegation to China who represented Israel in international economic forums. Kovo, a lawyer with a master's degree in diplomacy, was born in Ethiopia and immigrated to Israel via a foot journey through Sudan. Another addition is Orly Harel, a lawyer and entrepreneur specializing in artificial intelligence and medical fields, and author of "The Innovation Club." Harel was formerly active in the Likud movement, founded the "Jerusalem Likud Women" forum, and was named one of the 100 most influential Jewish women worldwide by The Jerusalem Post.

The fourth new candidate is Olesya Kantor, a social entrepreneur and philanthropist. Following the October mourning events, Kantor founded the "Heart Fire" initiative, providing free treatment to frontline survivors coping with post-trauma and bereaved mothers. She also manages a fund supporting women and children escaping violence, a role she has held for over a decade.

Bennett praised the new additions as a "true Israeli mosaic of leading women in their fields," emphasizing that the party's female majority is based on merit rather than gender. He stated, "In the 'Together' party, there is a female majority not because of gender, but because we decided to include the best. Together, we will fix [the country]."
