Bennett Adds Two Key Reservists to 'Together' Party Knesset List
On August 19, 2026, Naftali Bennett, chairman of the 'Together' party, announced the addition of two prominent reservists, Tomer Weiner and Zvi Plotnitsky, to the party's Knesset candidate list. Both are senior figures in the party's grassroots operations and bring the total number of reservists on the list to eight.
Zvi Plotnitsky is the founder and strategist of the party's grassroots headquarters and a key figure behind Bennett's recent 'parliamentary' field meetings, which have gained significant social media attention. During the recent conflict, Plotnitsky served over 400 days in reserve duty, including as a rescue event commander and rescue platoon leader in the "Sword of Iron" war, and participated in operations "With the Wolf" and "Roar of the Lion."
Tomer Weiner, a reserve lieutenant colonel and Herzliya city council member, also served hundreds of days in reserve during the "Sword of Iron" war. He leads the party's reserve headquarters and founded the organizations "Reservists for Reservists" and "Shield of the Generation" during the war.
Their inclusion joins other reservists on the list such as Yonatan Shalev, Shahar Ron, Amir Strugo from the "Shoulder to Shoulder" organization, Mati Gil, Moshe Kinley Tur-Paz, and retired Major General Noam Tivon. With Weiner and Plotnitsky, the number of reservists on the 'Together' party list now totals eight.
