Naftali Bennett Unveils 'Together' Party List for Upcoming Election

Naftali Bennett, chairman of the "Together" party, revealed his party's slate for the upcoming Knesset elections on Sunday, just one day before the deadline for submitting lists to the Central Elections Committee. Bennett placed former directors-general of the Finance and Transportation ministries, Keren Turner and Liran Avishar Ben-Horin respectively, along with former Director-General of the Ra'anana Municipality, Michal Negri, in the second, third, and fourth positions on the list, immediately following himself. Knesset Member Eitan Ginzburg rounds out the top five.

Bennett described the list as "the best team to fix the State of Israel," emphasizing that its members are "doers" with experience in government ministries. He personally called it "the best and most effective list to run for the Knesset in the last generation," asserting that its members possess the ability to work hard, quickly, and with high quality to lead "the great fix" in Israel soon.

The unveiling of Bennett's list comes shortly after Yair Lapid, leader of the "Yesh Atid" party, revealed his own party's slate. Lapid's list was formed following a wave of departures by veteran members who announced they would not seek re-election, including prominent figures like Debi Biton, Mickey Levy, and Meir Cohen. These departures are reportedly linked to speculation that Lapid, in anticipation of a potential political alliance with Bennett, might only be able to secure seats for a limited number of his party's representatives on a joint list.

Lapid himself commented on the challenging process of constructing his party's list, calling it "unprecedented" and both the "saddest and most inspiring moment" of his political career. He admitted the process was heartbreaking and that he "hated every moment," but expressed deep affection for his colleagues, whom he considers family.
