Jerusalem Reporter Inbar Toizer Announces Engagement
Inbar Toizer, a 28-year-old reporter for Israel's Channel 12 News covering Jerusalem and health since 2020, has announced her engagement. Toizer, who previously worked at "Bamahane" magazine, Galei Tzahal radio, ynet, and "Yedioth Ahronoth," where she covered the COVID-19 pandemic and conducted notable investigations, celebrated the personal milestone with her partner, Ben (Bencho) Bord, 36.
The couple, who live in Jerusalem and share a passion for acrobatics training, became engaged during an acrobatics convention in Mitzpe Ramon, the same location where they first met nearly two years prior. Toizer was surprised when Bord, a high-tech professional, proposed with a ring.
The engagement follows a challenging period for the couple, as Bord has been serving extended reserve duty on the northern border. Toizer recently shared her anxieties on social media about his deployment, stating, "Bencho went out today for another round. 109 days of reserve duty on the northern border. Another 109 days of sleepless nights from worry. Of getting used to life without my anchor again." Bord's return from the north for a special visit culminated in the proposal, signifying a lifelong commitment.
