Netanyahu Orders Outpost Demolitions Under US Pressure

The Prime Minister has instructed ministers not to oppose the IDF's actions and to offer support. However, demolition efforts are described as a cycle, with outposts being rebuilt shortly after removal, suggesting enforcement alone is insufficient without a clear policy. Security officials are concerned about rising tensions in Judea and Samaria, fearing a surge in terror attacks in response to the increased activity. Intelligence indicates a significant rise in terrorist activity, with dozens of attacks being thwarted weekly, some already in progress. This trend has been escalating over the past two to three months. The upcoming Palestinian Authority elections are also a concern for Israeli security forces, who are assessing their potential impact on the operational situation. The elections are considered unlikely to occur due to fears of a Hamas victory. The IDF has increased its readiness, deploying two additional battalions and preparing for further troop movements as needed, in anticipation of potential violence during the upcoming Israeli fall holidays. The IDF has also commenced "Dawn 2.0" exercises, simulating responses to attacks similar to those of October 7th.
