Yeshiva Student Critically Injured After Falling While Repairing Air Conditioner
An 18-year-old yeshiva student was seriously injured early Friday morning after falling approximately four meters inside a yeshiva hall in Bnei Brak. Emergency services responded to the incident shortly after 3:00 AM, providing initial medical treatment before transporting the student to Sheba Medical Center at Tel HaShomer. His condition is described as serious but stable.
According to friends of the student, he had climbed up to adjust something on an air conditioning unit. However, the unit apparently became dislodged, causing him to fall. Responders from United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom provided immediate medical care, including sedation and medication, before his evacuation to the hospital.
Paramedics noted the student sustained severe, multi-system trauma from the fall. The incident occurred at a yeshiva located on King Solomon Street in Bnei Brak.
