National Insurance Institute Advances Benefit Payments Ahead of Holidays
The National Insurance Institute (Bituah Leumi) has announced it will advance benefit and compensation payments to ease the financial burden on citizens during the upcoming Rosh Hashanah and Sukkot holidays. Payments for unemployment and subsistence benefits will be issued on September 8, moved up from the original date of September 14. Additionally, a wider range of other payments will be advanced to September 22, from their original date of September 28, ahead of the Sukkot holiday.
These accelerated payments include benefits for old age, loss of a breadwinner, disability, disabled children, special services, mobility, work injuries, alimony, rehabilitation, and care for the elderly and prisoners of Zion. The decision aims to help citizens manage increased holiday expenses.
