Hapoel Tel Aviv Midfielder Roey Elukim Shines Against Former Club Beitar Jerusalem

Roey Elukim, a promising midfielder for Hapoel Tel Aviv, scored against his former club Beitar Jerusalem on Thursday, continuing his strong start to the season. Elukim, who began his youth career at Beitar Jerusalem before moving to Hapoel Tel Aviv at age 15, has become a key player for Hapoel Tel Aviv coach Eliniv Barda. This season, he has contributed two goals and an assist across all competitions.

Elukim's journey to Hapoel Tel Aviv's senior team involved several steps. He joined the club's youth academy, where he won titles and achieved double-digit goal tallies in some seasons. In the summer of 2023, he extended his contract and was promoted to the senior squad, later being loaned to Maccabi Herzliya. The following season, he made a significant leap, recording 35 appearances and contributing four goals and four assists.
