Israel's Flu Vaccination Campaign to Begin Next Week
Israel's leading health maintenance organizations, Maccabi and Clalit, have announced the commencement of the 2026/27 influenza vaccination campaign, set to begin next week. Vaccines are scheduled to arrive in Israel through multiple shipments throughout September and October. Individuals can check vaccine availability and schedule appointments via the organizations' respective mobile applications and websites.
Clalit stated that the initial phase of vaccinations will take place at central clinics, with a subsequent expansion to all of the organization's clinics nationwide. The flu vaccine is recommended for the entire population aged six months and older, with particular emphasis on individuals at increased risk of severe illness and complications.
