IDF Division Drills Extreme Scenarios on Syrian Border

Division 210 of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has concluded a comprehensive exercise in the Golan Heights and along the Syrian border, simulating dozens of extreme and sudden scenarios. The drill aimed to maintain troop readiness and enhance their ability to handle complex situations and emerging events in the sector.

During the exercise, forces practiced responding to various situations, including rescuing casualties in challenging terrain, managing mass casualty incidents, and executing medical evacuations. Command and control mechanisms during combat were also rehearsed, alongside increased inter-organizational cooperation.

The training incorporated lessons learned from recent conflicts, particularly the events of October 7th. Emphasis was placed on maintaining a high level of alertness across the IDF, activating reserve forces, utilizing special forces, and employing live fire.

The division operated in conjunction with forces from adjacent sectors and the Home Front Command. The exercise was conducted in close cooperation with emergency and rescue services, local authority leaders, and other relevant entities operating in the area.
