IDF Division 210 Completes Major Drill Near Syrian Border

Division 210 of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has concluded a large-scale exercise in the Golan Heights and near the Syrian border. The drill aimed to enhance operational readiness and maintain troop proficiency in handling complex and sudden events.

All forces within Division 210 participated, along with units from neighboring sectors and the Home Front Command. Local authority heads, emergency and rescue services, and other regional entities were also involved in the exercise. The drill simulated dozens of scenarios, including field casualty extraction, mass casualty incident management, and medical evacuation.

Command, control, and combat management during wartime, as well as inter-organizational cooperation, were also practiced. The exercise incorporated lessons learned from combat across all fronts, with a particular emphasis on the events of October 7th. This included focusing on the deployment of alert forces, fire support, special forces, and maintaining the vigilance of the entire IDF system.
