IDF Division Completes Major Drills in Golan Heights Near Syrian Border

Division 210 of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has concluded a large-scale exercise in the Golan Heights and along the Syrian border. The drills were designed to enhance operational readiness and maintain the forces' proficiency in responding to complex and sudden events.

The exercise involved all units within Division 210, as well as forces from neighboring sectors and the Home Front Command. Local authority heads, emergency and rescue services, and other regional entities participated in the drills.

During the exercise, forces practiced dozens of scenarios, including casualty extraction, mass casualty incident management, and medical evacuation. Command, control, and combat management during wartime were also rehearsed, emphasizing inter-organizational cooperation.

The drills incorporated lessons learned from combat across all fronts, particularly from the October 7th attacks. The focus was on activating reserve forces, fire support, special forces, and maintaining the alertness of the entire IDF system.
