IDF Conducts Large-Scale Multi-Scenario Drill in West Bank Settlements

The Menashe and Yehuda regional brigades of the Israel Defense Forces completed extensive brigade-level exercises this week in the northern West Bank. The drills focused on responding to multiple simultaneous complex scenarios, including infiltrations into settlements, defense of communities, and managing multiple casualty sites across various locations such as settlements, roads, the seam zone, and deeper areas.

The IDF emphasized the importance of adapting to recent changes in the northern Samaria area and tested the troops' readiness to provide rapid responses under conditions of uncertainty. Commanders were challenged to make critical decisions while handling multiple active scenes.

The exercise involved close coordination between the IDF and various security and emergency agencies, including the Border Police, Israel Police, Fire and Rescue Services, Magen David Adom, and other security bodies. Special ground forces units also conducted joint operations with the Air Force to enhance operational capabilities across diverse scenarios.

This drill was pre-planned as part of the IDF's 2026 training program and aimed to strengthen inter-agency cooperation and operational preparedness in the West Bank region.
