FBI Foils Alleged Terror Plot Targeting White House UFC Event

Fox News reported that the FBI disrupted a complex terror plot aimed at a historic UFC fight event held at the White House complex. The case involved more than 20 potential participants, and five suspects have already been arrested and are being held as the investigation continues.

According to the report, the suspects traveled to Fredericksburg, Virginia, to make final preparations for what investigators believe was intended to be a deadly, coordinated attack. The alleged plan included drone strikes carrying explosives to hit buildings near the event and trigger mass panic, steering fleeing crowds into a planned sniper ambush. A second wave was then supposed to exploit the chaos, rush the White House gates and try to take over the building.

Investigators said the group had identified a target list that included politicians linked to AIPAC, billionaires and people they described as “capitalist elites.” Authorities first detected the threat on June 10 and launched a rapid operation with local law enforcement to stop it before it could be carried out.

FBI Director Kash Patel praised the response, saying, “We are built to identify, respond and bring to justice those who threaten the lives of American citizens, especially during mass gatherings like the historic UFC 250 fight event. This is exactly what we did here.” More than 4,300 people attended the event, including about 200 service members and security personnel, and no one was hurt.
