Israeli Cybersecurity Startup Huskeys Raises $27 Million in Funding Round

Israeli cybersecurity firm Huskeys has successfully raised $27 million in a funding round led by American investment giant Blackstone. The investment round also saw participation from Skinos Ventures, the investment fund of Shlomo Kramer and Yishai Yuval, investment funds from cybersecurity companies Okta and Zscaler, and Merlin Ventures. Investments from companies like Okta and Zscaler are often accompanied by strategic partnerships.

Notable private investors in this round include Israeli actor and comedian Assi Cohen and international mentalist Lior Suchard, who also serves as a consultant for the company. This latest funding brings Huskeys' total raised capital to $35 million since its inception. The company was founded in 2025 by Itay Gafni (CEO) and Roi Weissfeld (CTO), both alumni of the elite IDF Unit 8200.

Since its public launch, Huskeys has expanded its business operations, acquired new clients, and deepened its presence in international markets. Its client roster includes well-known brands such as Hugging Face, TikTok, Legoland, and Roblox, alongside Blackstone. The company manages significant internet traffic for global organizations.

Huskeys operates in the Web Application Firewall (WAF) layer, a technology developed in Israel nearly 30 years ago to filter traffic for web applications. Recognizing the stagnation in this sector, Huskeys has developed a platform that adds an 'Agentic AI' layer to this existing infrastructure, adapting it for the modern era. CEO Itay Gafni stated that the company aims to build a new network security category for the AI era, addressing the new security risks and potential revenue losses that AI brings to organizations. He believes that autonomous agents will soon constitute the majority of internet identities, necessitating new infrastructure for their identification, security, and management.
