Bus Overturns in Sinai, Killing 16 and Injuring 26
A bus accident in the Dahab-Nuweiba area of southern Sinai has resulted in 16 fatalities and 26 injuries, according to Egypt's Ministry of Health. Emergency services, including numerous ambulances and rescue teams, responded to the severe crash. Officials have indicated that the death toll may rise.
This incident follows another serious road accident last month in the Ismailia Governorate, which claimed the lives of 15 people and left 32 injured. In March, an Israeli citizen, a follower of the Breslov Hasidic movement, died in a road accident near Sharm El Sheikh while en route to Uman, Ukraine. Two other Israeli citizens were injured in that incident, which occurred near Taba, as reported by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
