Beitar Jerusalem Midfielder Nadav Markovich Loaned to Kiryat Shmona
Nadav Markovich, a 22-year-old midfielder for Beitar Jerusalem, has agreed to a loan deal with Hapoel Kiryat Shmona for the current sports season. Markovich rejoined Beitar Jerusalem this summer after a loan spell at Hapoel Ramat Gan, where he helped the team achieve promotion from the National League and scored a stoppage-time equalizer in a Toto Cup match against the Ordonim, which Beitar won on penalties.
Meanwhile, reports from Colombia indicate that Alexis Serna, who was a transfer target for Beitar Jerusalem, will not be joining the club. Beitar Jerusalem may now pursue alternative options in the transfer market.
Kiryat Shmona, managed by Shi Brada, is currently fourth in the Israeli Premier League standings after defeating Ironi Tiberias 2-0 last weekend.
