Beitar Jerusalem Loan Midfielder Nadav Marciano to Kiryat Shmona
Beitar Jerusalem and Ironi Kiryat Shmona are in negotiations for the transfer of midfielder Nadav Marciano. Two other Israeli Premier League clubs are also interested in the 22-year-old player, but Beitar's preference is to loan him to Kiryat Shmona, managed by Guy Levy. Marciano returned to Beitar Jerusalem this summer after a loan spell at Hapoel Ramat Gan, where he helped them achieve promotion from the National League. He also scored a stoppage-time equalizer against Hapoel Ramat Gan in the Toto Cup, before Beitar won on penalties. However, due to a crowded midfield at Beitar and the expected addition of another foreign midfielder, Marciano is likely to be loaned out for another season.
Meanwhile, talks regarding midfielder Alexis Serrano have not resumed as of Monday evening. Almog Cohen is exploring other options, but the club has not given up on the Colombian midfielder. Serrano's representatives are attempting to renew negotiations with Independiente Medellín to finalize the deal.
