Hapoel Be'er Sheva Signs Top Scorer Adrian Arqiza for Three Years

Hapoel Be'er Sheva, the reigning Israeli Premier League champions, have officially announced the signing of striker Adrian Arqiza from fellow league club Kiryat Shmona. Arqiza, who was one of the league's leading scorers last season with 18 goals for Kiryat Shmona, has agreed to a three-year contract with Be'er Sheva.

The transfer fee for the 30-year-old Peruvian forward is reported to be 1 million euros. Arqiza will earn 300,000 euros per season. He joins a strong Hapoel Be'er Sheva squad that recently saw its Champions League qualifying campaign end in the playoff round.

Arqiza's arrival will bolster Be'er Sheva's attacking options, where he will partner with Igor Zlatanovic. He previously played with teammate J'Avon East at Kiryat Shmona. Arqiza's move to Be'er Sheva marks his first European club experience, having previously played in Peru and Canada.

Arqiza has also represented the Peruvian national team four times, earning his first call-up while playing for Kiryat Shmona. He played 75 minutes in a 3-1 loss to Spain in a pre-World Cup friendly.
